Rayhaan Terra Eau de Parfum 100 ml is a men’s fragrance that blends intense incense, oriental spices and dark woods with warm amber-resinous sweetness. The rich composition features numerous spices, balsams and woody notes without feeling chaotic – its central theme remains smoky incense, which runs through virtually the entire development of the fragrance. The top notes open with prominent incense, accompanied by aromatic cardamom, resinous elemi and piquant Sichuan pepper. Fresh lemon and bergamot bring a brief citrus sparkle to the darker opening, creating a contrast with the smoky and spicy notes. The result is a dry, energetic and distinctly oriental introduction. In the heart, Terra develops into a complex blend of spices. Earthy patchouli combines with anise, coriander, cumin and spicy saffron, while wormwood adds aromatic bitterness. Orange blossom, geranium and rose balance the richness with a softer floral layer without suppressing its dark, spicy character. The base is dense, warm and distinctly resinous. Incense once again comes to the forefront, blending with creamy vanilla, sweet benzoin, amber, opoponax and labdanum. Oud and birch add darker woody and smoky depth, while ambergris, musk and sweet maltol round out the drydown. The fragrance gradually transforms from a sharply spiced opening into a deeper, sweetly balsamic and smoky finish. In style, Rayhaan Terra most closely resembles Amouage Outlands. The similarity is not based solely on their general oriental character – both compositions feature prominent incense, spices, resins, amber notes and dark woods. Terra is therefore often perceived as a more affordable interpretation of a similarly rich, smoky-spicy direction. However, it is not an identical composition, and the individual accords may develop differently over time. The most distinctive signature of Terra is its incense. It is noticeable from the opening and returns in the base, where it mingles with vanilla, benzoin, amber and other resins. Its smoky-balsamic character distinguishes Terra from typical sweet oud fragrances and gives it a deeper, drier and distinctly oriental atmosphere.
