Gardenia by Ahmed Al Maghribi. According to the catalogue composition, the top is blackcurrant, sweet orange, fruit and pink pepper, the heart leather, rose, iris, saffron and oakmoss, and the base oud, amber, cedar, white musk, vanilla, patchouli and vetiver. The composition itself does not list the gardenia of the name. We read this as a fruity opening with blackcurrant and orange, a leathery rose middle with iris and saffron and a woody close with oud and vanilla. It will feel closer to those who like fruity rose with leather and oud. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
