Riqqa by Ard Al Zaafaran. According to the retailer’s original note list, the top is bergamot, cinnamon and nutmeg, the heart date, praline, lily of the valley and tuberose, and the base tonka bean, benzoin, myrrh, akigalawood, vanilla and amber. We read this as a spicy opening with cinnamon and nutmeg, a sweet floral heart with date, praline and tuberose and a resinous vanilla finish with myrrh. It may appeal to those looking for spice and dates with resin. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
