Prune Hypnos by French Avenue. According to the retailer’s original note list, the top is grapefruit, cardamom and ginger, the heart osmanthus, cinnamon, magnolia, saffron, jasmine, orange, plum and dates, and the base sandalwood, a concrete accord, vanilla, leather, amber, iris and musk. We read this as a fresh, spicy opening with cardamom and ginger, a fruity floral heart with plum, dates and osmanthus and a leathery vanilla finish with iris and the concrete accord. We take the concrete accord literally. It may appeal to those looking for plum with spice and leather. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
