According to the retailer’s original note list, the top is nutmeg, spices, resin, rosewood and saffron, the heart pine needles, cashmere wood and guaiac wood, and the base oud, cedar, myrrh and animalic notes. We read this as a spicy, resinous opening with saffron, a woody heart with pine needles and an oud finish with myrrh and animalic notes. We take the general notes literally. It may appeal to those looking for wood, resin and oud. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
