El Capitan Extreme eau de parfum by Gulf Orchid; the maker classes it as oriental woody. The top is lavender, mint, bergamot and lemon zest, the heart cinnamon and clary sage, and the base vanilla, amber, patchouli and cedar. We read an aromatic opening of lavender and mint, warmed in the middle by cinnamon and led by vanilla and amber to a sweeter, woody close. It may appeal to those who like lavender with spice and vanilla. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
