Rare Rose by Gulf Orchid. The manufacturer gives no list of notes, only a description: an opening of rose petals, a floral heart of jasmine and orris, and a base of vanilla and woods. We read this as a rose that is the main theme from the start, softened in the middle by jasmine and orris into a velvety, powdery tone and warmed by vanilla and wood. It may appeal to those who like rose in a warmer, soft style. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
