Enigma of Taif by Swiss Arabian. According to the catalogue composition, the top is cardamom, black and pink pepper, elemi and plum, the heart Taif rose, saffron, violet, olibanum and osmanthus, and the base oak wood, molasses, vetiver, amber and labdanum. We read this as a spicy-fruity opening with plum, a rich rose middle with saffron and frankincense and a dark, resinous-sweet close with molasses and labdanum. It will feel closer to those who like dense rose scents with spice and resin. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
