Shaghaf Oud Aswad eau de parfum by Swiss Arabian; the maker classes it as oriental and woody. The top is saffron, thyme and rose, the middle includes coriander, rose, jasmine, patchouli and oud, and the base is musk, sandalwood, leather, oud, amber and vanilla. From the composition we expect a spiced rose with saffron that turns, through oud and leather, towards a dense vanilla-amber close. It suits lovers of rose with oud; anyone who dislikes oud will meet it from the middle on. We do not yet document longevity or projection.
